Terms of Service
Last updated: May 18, 2026
Welcome to Hari Kirtan. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website and services (collectively, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
About the Service
Hari Kirtan is a devotional resource for the Swaminarayan satsang community. We provide kīrtan lyrics in Gujarati, Hindi, and related languages, thoughtful translations, audio with karaoke-style highlighting, and optional AI-assisted features to help you explore meaning and context.
The Service is offered in good faith for personal, family, and satsang use. It is not an official publication of any mandir, organisation, or religious authority.
Accounts
You may browse much of the Service without an account. Some features (such as favourites, AI-assisted Ask and Arth, and saved preferences) require a free account.
When you register, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information and keep it up to date
- Keep your login credentials secure
- Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access to your account
You are responsible for activity under your account.
Sacred content and respectful use
Kīrtan lyrics and devotional material on this site are treated with care. You agree to:
- Use the Service respectfully and in a spirit appropriate to satsang
- Not misuse, scrape, or bulk-download content in ways that harm the community or our infrastructure
- Not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or overload the Service
- Not use the Service for unlawful, harassing, or misleading purposes
We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated.
AI-assisted features
The Service may offer AI-generated explanations, answers, and summaries (“AI content”), including Ask and Arth (full meaning).
Important:
- AI content is assistive only. It is clearly marked and is never presented as scripture, official doctrine, or a substitute for traditional learning, ācārya guidance, or your own study.
- AI output may be incomplete or inaccurate. Always verify important matters through trusted sources in your sampradāya.
- Do not rely on AI content for medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice.
Your questions and prompts may be processed by third-party AI providers to generate responses. See our Privacy Policy for how that data is handled.
Credits and usage limits
We may apply fair usage limits (for example, a number of AI questions per session for visitors, or monthly credits for signed-in users) to keep the Service sustainable for the community. Limits, if any, may change; we will try to communicate material changes clearly on the site.
Content, accuracy, and intellectual property

Your feedback
If you send suggestions, corrections, or messages through our contact form, you grant us permission to use that feedback to improve the Service without obligation to you.
Third-party services
The Service may rely on hosting, authentication, email, analytics, payment (if applicable), and AI providers. Your use of those features may also be subject to their terms and policies.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) one hundred Indian rupees (₹100), if you have not paid for the Service.
Changes to the Service and these Terms
We may update the Service or these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
